An original Carling Black Label "I bet he drinks..." advertising poster (1985) mounted & ready to frame (13 3/4"x 23 1/2" overall).

The Carling Black Label "I bet he drinks..." series of adverts were one of the most successful ads of the 1970's-80's. They would generally feature something striking, difficult, unusual or admirable, the idea being that anyone who drank the beer was similarly "special"! In this case the ad features a bowl with four shredded wheat when a "normal" portion was recognised to be two or three at the maximum. A humorous poster representing a classic advertising concept.
