Carry On Cowboy Poster

A fascinating Trade Ad (11"x 17") for "Carry On Cowboy" (1965).

The Ad shows Sid James, guns poised & Amanda Barrie from the previous Carry On film, "Carry On Cleo" (1964) & presents attendance figures for both films, highlighting "Carry On Cowboy" as the "Biggest Carry On Of All!". At this stage, "Carry On Cowboy" was the 11th Carry On in the 31 film series 1958-92. The header text, "Cowboy Out-Draws Cleo", reflects the light-hearted nature of these low budget but very profitable British comedy films. This Trade Ad was published in an edition of the Trade magazine "Kinematograph Weekly".

An interesting original piece of Carry On memorabilia that would frame to excellent effect.
