Once Upon A Dream Poster

UK 1-Sheet cinema poster for the British romantic-comedy "Once Upon A Dream" (1948).

This film marked the debut for director Ralph Thomas (he of the "Doctor" series & early "Carry On" fame) & was co-scripted by Hammer stalwart Val Guest. The poster is a beautiful stone-litho print but the original artist is unknown.

Poster folded but subsequently rolled with several edge tears (longest 2 1/2" to right upper rim) which have been stabilised with conservation tape. Posters from this era were printed on very thin paper (due to post-war shortages) & are prone to tear. Nonetheless a scarce poster that displays to very good effect. Poster priced in accordance with condition.
