Creepshow Poster

UK Quad unfolded cinema poster for the George A Romero horror-comedy "Creepshow" (1982) with poster illustration by Tom Chantrell.

For a long time the poster artist for this poster was unidentified but we were fortunate to access the log book of the commissioning agent & were then able to attribute this gruesome classic to Chantrell. The print run for the Quad was only 2,500 & Chantrell was paid the grand sum of £325 for both his concept art & the finished artwork.

Poster folded with light "foxing" to upper white rim. Still displays to excellent effect. For an idea of relative value, Heritage Auctions sold a rolled "Creepshow" Quad for $750 (£600) Jan 2024.
