What Ever Happened To Baby Jane Poster

US 1-Sheet linen-backed movie poster for the horror-thriller "What Ever Happened To Baby Jane" (1962).

Starring arch rivals Bette Davis & Joan Crawford as embittered sisters holed up in an old Hollywood mansion added extra spice to this "X" rated thriller. The poster design highlights the theme of sibling conflict & psychological tension. There is also a nice faux warning etc at the bottom (similar to the exhortations on many Hitchcock film posters). The film was very well received winning five Oscar nominations including Bette Davis as "Best Actress" (which must have riled Ms Crawford somewhat). A poster that is not often available in the UK market.

Poster originally folded but now linen-backed. There have been some light touch-ins to foldlines & some air-brushing to areas of the white rim & the poster now displays to excellent effect.
