Daleks Invasion Earth 2150 AD Poster

UK Quad linen-backed cinema poster for the Dr Who film, "Daleks Invasion Earth 2150 AD" (1966).

A superb scifi poster design for this, the second of the "Dr Who" films, starring Peter Cushing as the "Doctor" ("Dr Who & The Daleks" appeared the year before in 1965). The "Daleks" again feature prominently on the poster with a nice scene of ravaged London in the background. The film had a bigger budget than its predecessor but was hampered by production problems, with Peter Cushing's failing health causing re-writes, a stunt man breaking his ankle & one of the Dalek's catching fire whilst filming the storming of the Dalek spaceship! A cracking poster & one that is seldom available in the market.

Poster orginally folded with light foldline wear but now linen-backed with airbrush restoration to outer white rim & a few light foldline touch-ins but the vast bulk of the poster artwork restoration free & displays to superb effect. A great early 1960's piece of original "Dr Who" memorabilia & a stunning visual item too!
