Delbert Mann Autograph Poster

A b/w photo (6 1/4"x 9 1/4") autographed & dedicated by the Oscar winning director Delbert Mann.

The photo shows Mann on an outdoor film shoot listening to a sound recording, this being for the adventure film "Kidnapped" (1971) starring Michael Caine & Trevor Howard. The dedication is to Danny Daniel the sound recordist (shown standing on the left) & reads "Danny many thanks for a great job".

Delbert Mann won the Best Director Oscar for his first big film "Marty" (1955) starring Ernest Borgnine. Thereafter, Mann was active in the world of cinema throughout the 1960's-70's moving to TV film production during the 1980's-90's.
