UK Quad cinema poster for "Doctor In Trouble" (1970) starring James Robertson Justice & Leslie Phillips.

The "Doctor" series of British comedy films ran 1954-70 & pre-dated the "Carry On" series that were to mine a similar vein of humour. The series consisted of "Doctor in the House" (1954), "Doctor at Sea" (1955), "Doctor at Large" (1957), "Doctor in Love" (1960), "Doctor in Distress" (1963), "Doctor in Clover" (1966) & "Doctor in Trouble" (1970). Dirk Bogarde was the first young "Doctor" & appeared in four films, Michael Craig took the lead role once & Leslie Phillips was to star in the last two films. Though low-budget productions these films were box office successes. A good series of film posters to collect & significantly cheaper than the contemporary "Carry On" posters too!
