Erik The Viking

Original Graham Humphreys painted artwork (12"x 16 1/2") for the Terry Jones fantasy-adventure "Erik The Viking" (1989), this commissioned for the 2011 UK DVD/Blu-Ray release of the film (see image attached).

Befittingly filmed in Norway, this fantasy romp was written, directed & co-starred ex-Monty Python member, Terry Jones. Fellow Python, John Cleese also appeared. Tim Robbins played "Erik" & the eclectic cast included the varied talents of those such as Mickey Rooney, Jim Broadbent, Eartha Kitt, Tim McInnerney, Samantha Bond, Jim Carter, Imogen Stubbs etc.

Artwork is gouache on watercolour paper, mounted and plexi-glass framed 20” x 23" overall.
