Escape From Tomorrow Poster

An interesting signed US 1-Sheet poster for the low budget indie horror film "Escape From Tomorrow" (2013).

Written & directed by Randy Moore (poster also signed by him), "Escape From Tomorrow" featured a family holiday at "Walt Disney World Resort". The film, however, was shot at Disney properties covertly & without permission. Although the film was shown at several Festivals, there was much nervousness about the Disney behemoth taking legal action. Disney, however, refrained possibly fearing a backlash that would boost publicity for the film. "Escape From Tomorrow" opened in just 30 cinemas in the US & was never released cinematically in the UK.

The poster design is relatively simple (befitting the low budget) but further "pokes" Disney with its depiction of an animated hand dripping with blood!

A fascinating piece of horror & Disney movie poster history.
