Firecreek Poster

UK Quad cinema poster for the western "Firecreek" (1968) with poster illustration by Tom Chantrell.

A typically colourful Chantrell composition & an interesting design with James Stewart & Henry Fonda side-by-side but separate, guns angled outwards towards the viewer. In 1970 Chantrell re-used this feature of a gun being so prominently displayed in the John Wayne western "Chisum" (see https://www.chantrellposter.com/Chisum-Quad-Poster-Original/255) & in 1971 this device was "borrowed" for the poster campaign for Clint Eastwood's "Dirty Harry" too (image courtesy of emovieposter).

Poster folded with pin-holes to corners/rim & overall in good condition.
