Get Carter Poster

UK Quad cinema poster for the BFI 50th anniversary re-release of "Get Carter" (1971) in 2021.

Whereas the original '71 Quad by Putzu presented Caine in striking "flower-power" garb (there are some hilarious psuedy explanations out there but the pattern matches the bedspread upon which Briit Ekland has phone sex with Caine) this BFI poster strips everything back to a stark solitary image of Caine with gun at hand. "Get Carter" was released back in 1999 but this mauve coloured creation (see image courtesy of emovie for comparison) doesn't have the impact of the BFI poster & is no where near as scarce too.

Poster unfolded, single-sided, with a single 1/4" nick to right rim. Overall in excellent condition & comes at a fraction of the price of the '71 poster! (currently offered at £5,000-£8,000) (box).
