McVicar Poster

Scarce UK Quad 1-Sheet cinema poster for the Roger Daltrey film "McVicar" (1980).

The UK 1-Sheet for this film has a more artwork in the design than the corresponding Quad with the armed robber emerging out of the wall & with vignettes of action decorating the sides (including two images of Daltrey). Most UK 1-Sheets were destined for use in overseas markets & the "R16" sticker to the bottom left indicates this poster was used in New Zealand. Although Daltrey has appeared in various TV series & videos over the years, it was the period 1975-80 when he was busiest on the big screen with starring roles in "Tommy" (1975), "Lisztomania" (1975) & then "McVicar" (1980).

Poster folded with neat pin-holes to corners & in excellent folded condition.
