Hammer Poster

A large 4-sided Hammer Christmas Card (each page 11"x 13 1/2") dating from Dec 1971.

Interestingly, the front of the card carries the titles of films that were released during the preceding year, others that were in pre-production but where the titles were to be changed (ie, "Dracula Chelsea 1972" became "Dracula AD 1972") & others which though mooted, never finally made it into production (ie, "Zeppelin vs Pterodactyls"). Inside the front cover are foldout photos of two of Hammer's leading ladies, Ingrid Pitt & Julie Ege, whilst on the back cover are further Hammer film titles & a bevy of Hammer starlets. It is fair to say that this Christmas Card was rather light on the religious elements of Christmas being more simply focused on one of the key ingredients of Hammer films at this time, sex.

This is an unusual piece of Hammer memorabilia which could be framed to good effect.
