Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush Poster

Scarce UK Quad poster for the British comedy "Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush" (1967).

A really interesting Vic Fair design for this poster illustrated with psych pop-art figures and with the highly innovative use of silver foil on the poster (see Branaghan "British Film Posters" 2006). As poster budgets were strictly controlled, this ground-breaking design feature was most unusual and when this scarce poster is seen, more often than not, the foil has come adrift. The cutting-edge design of this poster was recognised at the time & the Victoria & Albert Museum exhibited Vic's original artwork 1967-68. The V&A hold both prototype artwork & a proof poster for "Here We Go Round..." in their current collection.

The film's 1960's pedigree was embellished with a contemporary soundtrack, The Spencer Davis Group, Steve Winwood & Traffic all being credited on the poster.

Poster with slight chip missing from lower rim, wear to centre crossfold, minor blemish on foil but overall, as can be seen, displays to very good effect.
