Istanbul Poster

UK Quad cinema poster for the Errol Flynn thriller "Istanbul" (1957).

Filmed on location in Turkey, this was one of Errol Flynn's later films. The film contained a scene featuring Nat King Cole singing the classic "When I Fall In Love". The poster presents some interesting artwork courtesy of Baylis & Adam. This design team were better known for their travel posters especially for British Rail but like many commercial artists they would occasionally take on commissions that were outside their normal remit.

Poster folded with pin-holes to the edges/rim but a scarce poster & overall in very good condition.
