John Barry Concert Poster Poster

An original concert poster (20"x 30") for The John Barry 7 to play the Buxton Pavilion, 23rd Feb 1963. No doubt the "James Bond" theme which hit #13 in the charts a few months earlier (Nov '62), would have been played during the set. John Barry increasingly moved into the world of film soundtrack composition & by 1964 The John Barry 7 folded. Barry's roster of soundtrack recordings included all the early James Bond films (1962-85), "Zulu", "Born Free", "Midnight Cowboy", "Out of Africa", "Dances With Wolves" & many many more besides. He was arguably the single most successful film music composer of the 20th century. This early gig poster is an interesting piece of memorabilia from the man's great career. The poster has various small conservation repairs to edge nicks. This poster is also being offered via www.rockpopmem.com
