Live Fast Die Young Poster

US 1/2-Sheet linen-backed poster for "Live Fast Die Young" (1958).

A B-movie charting the travails of two young girls who leave their dysfunctional home to make their own way in a dangerous world. Such "Bad Girl" genre films were popular in the 1950's often carrying spurious moral messages whilst providing titillation too. This was a very good example of the type & this poster appeared in the Christie's "Exploitation Poster Art" auction of 2006. Director Paul Henreid had been an actor earlier in his career & indeed appeared in "Casablanca" (1942). A good poster design with some interesting vignette illustrations.

Poster once faintly folded, now linen-backed & in very good condition (map chest 6).
