UK Quad cinema poster for "MASH" (1970).


The poster presents an interesting design. Though the film took a satirical swipe at the US military involvement in Korea, the allegorical reference to the contemporary involvement in Vietnam was clear. The attitudes/sentiments embodied by MASH" root the film in the late 60's - early 70's counter-culture movement, together with films like "Easy Rider" (1969), "Zabriske Point" (1970), "A Clockwork Orange" (1971) etc.

 

Poster folded with a couple of tiny edge nicks (left rim) & in excellent overall condition.
