Mad Max Poster

A 2020 privately commissioned Alternative Movie Poster (24"x 36") for the Mel Gibson film "Mad Max" (1979).

Created by Paul Mann, this poster was limited to 64 only. The poster was an 8-colour screenprint on "French Paper Pure White"" paper. This was the regular version (an even smaller print run for a metallic version also exists).

The Mondo & associated Alternative Movie Poster (AMP) movement began in the early 2000's & represents a rejection of the "modern" photo-based design method of producing cinema posters. Mondos & AMP's are cinema posters created as art pieces. Generally these have not been made for film marketing purposes but instead are artistic re-interpretations of both classic vintage films & modern movies. Mondo/AMP posters are exceptionally high quality prints, released in strictly limited numbers (invariably sold out on release) & become instant collectables.

This poster has no discernible faults & is as close to mint as you will find (we handle these posters with proper conservation quality gloves in order to keep them as pristine as possible). The poster will be sent rolled with protective paper in a sturdy tube. This is a scarce poster & will NOT be discounted.
