Medium Cool Poster

Rare UK Quad cinema poster for the American New Wave movie "Medium Cool" (1969).

A film ostensibly with a journalistic theme, this was really a celebration of counter-culture concerns. Director, Haskell Wexler shot the film in cinema-verite documentary style, giving it an even more contemporary edge. This was one of the earliest "mainstream" movies in America to receive an "X"-rating. In the UK the film was released in early 1970 but was not widely seen. In 30 years of collecting/dealing we've not seen another example of this Quad poster - try finding another.

Poster rolled & in scarce unfolded condition. There is an old 5" tape repair to right mid-rim & slight paper loss to the upper left corner. A fascinating & rare original piece from the counter-culture era. (Box 1)
