My Fair Lady Poster

UK Quad Style-B cinema poster for the Audrey Hepburn musical "My Fair Lady" (1964) with poster artwork by Tom Beauvais etc, the poster coming from the private collection of the artist.

Tom Beauvais worked closely with Tom Chantrell at the Allardyce ad agency before setting up his own business, "Chapman-Beauvais" in 1975. Among the vast roster of posters Beauvais created were "Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid (1969), "Fantastic Voyage" (1966), Mad Max (1979) & Zombie Flesh Eaters" (1980).

The Style-A Quad was a re-formatting of the Bob Peak US design but this radically different Style-B poster was a collaborative effort for which Beauvais provided the central illustration (posing with his colleagues & using the resultant photo for reference).

This poster is distressed. It has been partially (& incompletely) trimmed, has staining etc but the poster has been signed in ballpoint pen to the bottom right border.
