My Fair Lady Poster

UK Quad linen-backed first release cinema poster for the musical-comedy "My Fair Lady" (1964) starring Audrey Hepburn.

All Audrey Hepburn posters are very collectable & pieces from "My Fair Lady" (1964) are particularly sought after. The film was a great critical & commercial success, garnering twelve Oscar nominations & winning eight including the "Best Picture" award. Bob Peak's artwork for the global advertising campaign was interesting, focusing on Hepburn & Rex Harrison, the pink background setting the tone of the film & the arty theatrical illustration hinting of the sumptuous costume & set designs (courtesy of Cecil Beaton).

Poster unfolded & prior to backing was in excellent condition. Apart from the usual washing/de-acidification that takes place when backing, this poster required NO restoration.
