Night Shift

It is a shame that Vic's prototype design (22"x 32") for the 1982 American comedy "Night Shift" wasn't developed further as it was typically promising & inventive. The painted artwork has been applied in a series of cut-outs to artboard. In adapting his own concept, Vic has applied an acetate with an alternate strap-line & two painted "City Morgue" paper squares. A fascinating work in progress that certainly was better than the finished Quad (see below).

The film was an interesting comedy that re-united "Happy Days" colleagues Ron Howard & Henry Winkler, the premise of the film being a morgue that is turned into a brothel!
