No Country For Old Men Poster

A 2019 privately commissioned screenprint poster (24"x 36") for the Coen brothers film "No Country For Old Men" (2007) with artwork by Robert Tanenbaum.

Tanenbaum is best known for his painted vintage movie poster illustrations but like Paul Mann is a rare example of an artist who spans both the vintage genre & the AMP/Mondo scene too. His vintage movie poster back-catalogue includes such titles as "Super Fly" (1972), "Battlestar Galactica" (1978), "Cujo" (1983), "The Color of Money" (1986) etc. The screenprint poster for "No Country For Old Men" was limited to just 45 copies worldwide (it has been hand-numbered to the lower rim). This poster is rarely seen in the market. As an idea of how scarce it is, it has never featured in an emovieposter auction & does not appear on the expressobeans AMP/Mondo database either. The Mondo & associated Alternative Movie Poster (AMP) movement began in the early 2000's & represents a rejection of the "modern" photo-based design method of producing cinema posters.
