Deliverance Poster

UK Quad cinema poster for the unsettling Burt Reynolds river-adventure, "Deliverance" (1972).

The poster design hints of the threat of violence that pervades this superb film. Themes of man's relationship to nature, male bonding (in several senses) & the clash of cultures are all present. A great tag-line too! Bill Gold's poster design was clearly an influence on the later poster campaign for "Jaws" (1975). A Quad poster that is becoming harder to find especially in such fine un-restored condition like this.

Poster folded & in excellent condition. (O)
