Once Upon A Time In America

Three separate items related to Vic Fair's concept design for the Quad poster for "Once Upon A Time In America" (1984) consisting of a pencil artwork on tracing paper (10 1/2"x 16") of Manhattan Bridge with the five boys in the foreground (slight creasing to left side), a print (8 1/4"x 11 1/2") of Fair's concept artwork focusing on the title script & a transparency (4 1/2"x 6 1/4") of a completed concept piece. All items from Vic Fair's collection.

Fair's design was partly based on the Tom Jung American poster campaign. Although Fair's concept was not ultimately used for the Quad, his design is highly thought of (on 2nd May 2012 one of Fair's concept artworks sold at Christie's for £2,250 hammer: https://www.christies.com/lot/lot-5555180)
