Capone Poster

An interesting Pop-Art style Al "Capone" poster (19 1/2"x 30") by Barry Fantoni published by Fanprints in 1967.

Fantoni was an important figure in the 1960's, being a TV presenter, cartoonist, author & occasional poster artist. Fantoni was also a mainstay of the satitical magazine "Private Eye" 1963-2010. Though this Capone poster was non-film related, it bears distinct similarities in style to Fantoni's Quad for the British comedy "Morgan: A Suitable Case For Treatment" (1966) shown for reference.

Poster rolled on heavy paper stock with some light creasing & overall in excellent condition. A good collectable 1960's poster. (Box 1)
