Please Turn Over Poster

Early first release UK Quad poster for the British comedy "Please Turn Over" (1959).

The film came from the Carry On stable of Peter Rogers & Ralph Thomas & was written by Norman Hudis (screenwriter for the first six Carry On's) & starred a number who would become Carry On regulars including Leslie Phillips, Joan Sims & Charles Hawtrey. On the back of the huge success of the early Carry On films ("Sergeant" 1958 & "Nurse" 1959), it was natural for distributors Anglo-Amalgamated to want to benefit from the Carry On connection, hence the printed "From the team who gave you Carry On Nurse" banner in the middle of the poster (NB. to make this stand out better, this banner was later given a pink background but the version here is from the very early print run).

The poster has pin-holes to corners & a few minor edge nicks & overall is in very good condition.
