Predator Poster

A 2025 privately commissioned "Fan Art" screenprint AMP poster (24"x 36") for the Arnold Schwarzenegger film, "Predator" (1987) with poster art by the Thai artist Wiwat.

This Fan Art commission was limited to only 40 posters & this is the low-numbered "8". Just as the Italian artists who created many UK Quad cinema posters in the 1960's-70's had a distinctive style, so Thai artists in the AMP market bring a special verve & style to their compositions, this being a particularly glorious example.

This poster is in mint condition. The poster will be sent rolled with protective paper in a sturdy tube. This is a scarce poster & will NOT be discounted.

The Alternative Movie Poster (AMP) & associated Mondo movement began in the early 2000's & represents a rejection of the "modern" photo-based design method of producing cinema posters. AMP's & Mondo's are cinema posters created as art pieces. Generally these have not been made for film marketing purposes but instead are artistic re-interpretations of both classic vintage films & modern movies. AMP/Mondo posters are exceptionally high quality prints, released in strictly limited numbers (invariably sold out on release) & become instant collectables.
