Return Of The Jedi Poster

A 2023 licensed screenprint poster (24"x 36") for "Return Of The Jedi" (1983) with artwork by Matt Ferguson.

This superb 11-colour screenprint poster was issued as a timed edition & 4,000 posters were sold. This particular example, however, is a scarce "Artist's Proof" copy & this is the special "blue/red" variant. The poster has been signed in the bottom left corner by the artist. This release was a 40th anniversary commemoration commissioned by Lucasfilm.

This poster is in near mint condition. The poster will be sent rolled with protective paper in a sturdy tube. This is a scarce poster & will NOT be discounted.

The Mondo & associated Alternative Movie Poster (AMP) movement began in the early 2000's & represents a rejection of the "modern" photo-based design method of producing cinema posters. Mondos & AMP's are cinema posters created as art pieces. Generally these have not been made for film marketing purposes but instead are artistic re-interpretations of both classic vintage films & modern movies. Mondo/AMP posters are exceptionally high quality prints, released in strictly limited numbers (invariably sold out on release) & become instant collectables.
