UK Quad cinema poster for the dance drama "Saturday Night Fever" (1977).

A quintessential 1970's film & one which did much to popularise "disco" in popular culture. "Saturday Night Fever" was a huge commercial hit, the film soundtrack being particularly successfuul. The soundtrack was heavily influenced by The Bee Gees, their tracks "Stayin Alive", "Night Fever", "How Deep Is your Love", Jive Talkin" etc all featuring & becoming big singles hits too. Please note this is a poster for the 1st release "X" certificate version of the film (it was subsequently re-released with cuts as an "A" certificate film).

Off the back of his success in "Saturday Night Fever", John Travolta secured the lead position in "Grease" (1978), further burnishing his image as the "go to" male lead in music/dance orientated films.

Poster originally folded, subsequently rolled with two tiny nicks to upprer rim & in excellent overall condition.
