Southern Comfort Poster

UK Quad cinema poster for "Southern Comfort" (1981).

Set against the backdrop of the Vietnam War the film featured the culture clash between a unit of the National Guard lost in the Louisiana swamps & the local Cajuns. There were strong echoes of "Deliverance" (1972) & of course stark parallels with the experience of American forces in SE.Asia too. A film that deserves to be seen in the same canon as "Apocalypse Now" (1979), "Platoon" (1986), "The Deer Hunter" (1978) etc.

Poster folded & rolled with slight foldline wear.
