The Belstone Fox

Concept Vic Fair painted artwork (22"x 32") design for the Quad poster for "The Belstone Fox" (1973). Vic Fair was frequently commissioned to create prototype poster designs which were later illustrated by other artists. Fair had a successful partnership with Brian Bysouth in this regard & indeed although this particular concept design did not make it into print, another Vic Fair design was chosen (& illustrated by Bysouth) for the Quad.

Artwork is primarily ink and magic marker applied to layout paper which is affixed to board with rim tape. There is a 5" tear to the layout paper at upper rim but this does not affect the artwork.

Due to the size of this piece, a separate P&P charge will be required.
