UK Quad cinema poster for "The Bitch" (1979).

This softcore drama was a sequel to "The Stud" (1978), both films based on books by Jackie Collins & both films starring her sister, Joan Collins. Though disliked by the critics, both films were commercially successful & served to "re-boot" Joan Collins's career leading ultimately to her role as "Alexis Carrington" in the fabulously successful TV series "Dynasty" (1981-89). A fine memento of one of the last remaining superstars from the Golden Age of cinema.
