The Elephant Man Poster

UK Quad cinema poster for "The Elephant Man" (1980).

This poster is based on the US poster design created by Spiros Angelikas. Angelikas had his own ad agency & worked with various artists including Richard Amsel. Rather like Britain's Vic Fair, Angelikas was principally a designer rather than illustrator though "The Elephant Man" poster was both designed & illustrated by Angelikas.

"The Elephant Man" was both a critical & commercial success garnering eight Oscar nominations. David Bowie played the Elephant Man on Broadway from July 1980 to Jan 1981.

Poster in excellent condition, folded & subsequently rolled & will be sent rolled in a tube. (Box 1)
