The Evil of Frankenstein Poster

UK Quad poster for the Hammer horror film “The Evil Of Frankenstein” (1964). By 1964 Hammer Studios were deeply committed to the horror genre & this is a typical poster from the period. The clash of green against red is instantly arresting & if that didn't capture your attention, the upper header screaming "Shock....Shock....Shock", would have! This is another scarce Hammer title. When the poster does appear, it is most often the double-bill with "Nightmare".

The poster has corner damage including conservation tape repairs & paper loss to upper right corner. There are several old tape stains to rim, pin-holes to edges & a couple of tiny areas of paper loss to upper left. The “X” certificate has been blanked out & there are various small conservation tape repairs to the reverse. Irrespective the poster still displays very well & this is an increasingly difficult poster to find in any condition.
