The Getaway Poster

UK Quad cinema poster for the Steve McQueen film "The Getaway" (1972).

Given that this is a poster for a Peckinpah film, it is no surprise that the imagery is violent. This is the poster for the original 1972 release. Although the 1979 Putzu designed re-release poster is actually a more collectable piece, original first release "Getaway" posters are not common & compared to posters for other contemporary McQueen films ("Thomas Crown Affair", "Bullitt", "Le Mans") this poster is very competitively priced.
