The Good The Bad and The Ugly Poster

A rare set of THREE 2011 AMP screenprint posters (18"x 24") for the classic Clint Eastwood spaghetti western "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" (1966) with artwork by David O'Daniel.

The three posters are individually "The Good" ("Il Buono"), "The Bad" (Il Cattivo") & "The Ugly" ("Il Brutto"). Printed on card stock with a metallic finish, just 175 of these sets were issued & each poster has been numbered & signed in pencil to the bottom rim. Each of these posters is low-numbered, these all being "13/175". Many sets have either been locked away by long-term collectors or have been split up making a complete set like this rare.

These posters are in near mint condition ("Il Cattivo" has two tiny "bumps" to upper left rim). These posters will be sent rolled with protective paper in a sturdy tube. This set is rare & will NOT be discounted.

The Mondo & associated Alternative Movie Poster (AMP) movement began in the early 2000's & represents a rejection of the "modern" photo-based design method of producing cinema posters. Mondos & AMP's are cinema posters created as art pieces. Generally these have not been made for film marketing purposes but instead are artistic re-interpretations of both classic vintage films & modern movies. Mondo/AMP posters are exceptionally high quality prints, released in strictly limited numbers (invariably sold out on release) & become instant collectables.
