US 1-Sheet linen-backed movie poster for "The Outlaw Josey Wales" (1976) with poster illustration by Roy Andersen.

Directed by Clint Eastwood the film was both a critical & commercial success at a time when the popularity of the western genre was in decline. This was the first film to pair Eastwood with Sondra Locke (the pair became an "item" & would co-star in six further films through to the late 1980's). Andersen's illustration provides a great looming image of the gun brandishing Eastwood juxtaposed against an image of the mounted cowboys in the foreground. Poster linen-backed with minimal restoration (touch-ins to foldline wear) & is in excellent condition. A poster that is not often available in the UK market especially in such nice condition (map chest 7).
