The Hateful Eight Poster

The scarce UK Quad Advance cinema poster for the Quentin Tarantino western "The Hateful Eight" (2015).

This Advance is an "artwork" style of poster design. The composition sets the the film in a log cabin in the snowy mountains but creates suitable suspense. We do not know who the poster artist was but Tarantino is known to take a close interest in the poster marketing of his films. Given that he is often criticised for the violence of his films, this enigmatic un-threatening design may have been a deliberate ploy....to create a false sense of security. This poster was released in smaller quantities than the General Release poster & is therefore scarcer.

Poster unfolded, doubble-sided & in excellent condition.
