The Night We Dropped A Clanger Poster

UK Quad poster for the British comedy "The Night We Dropped A Clanger" (1959).

With a WWII setting involving the RAF in an episode of espionage against the Germans, this film included an array of British comedy talent. Following the war a further two million men served in the forces until National Sevice ended in 1963. As such films with a military background (comedy or war) were popular in the UK, tapping into a well of shared experience.

Poster with several rim tape stains, a few small conservation tape repairs to edge nicks (& a 4" "V" shaped repair to tear just above centre crossfold) plus pin-holes to corners/rim etc. Still, not a common British comedy poster to find.
