The Pink Panther Poster

UK Quad conservation paper-backed cinema poster for the comedy "The Pink Panther" (1963).

Starring the likes of David Niven, Peter Sellers (as "Inspector Clousseau"), Robert Wagner, Capucine & Claudia Cardinale this Blake Edwards directed film was a hit. Such was Sellers performance as the bungling detective that the sequel "A Shot In The Dark" (1964) pitched Sellers in the lead role. A number of subsequent "Pink Panther" films followed as well as a highly successful animated series 1969-80. In total Sellers starred in five "Pink Panther" films 1963-78, all directed by Blake Edwards. The poster illustration is by James Rickard & presents great caricature images of the leads with a Pink Panther paw print motif forming an outer border.

Poster once folded but now backed. The poster shows slight signs of dis-colouration to several foldlines with slight tape stain to upper left corner. The only restoration undertaken has been to a small area of paper loss to upper right corner. The poster displays very well & is the most sought after of all the posters in the "Pink Panther" series. This scarce poster has been priced in accordance with condition & will NOT be discounted (Sleeve).
