The Return Of The Living Dead Poster

A 2021 gallery licenced Mondo poster (24"x 36") for the zombie horror film "Return Of The Living Dead" (1985).

The Mondo & associated Alternative Movie Poster (AMP) movement began in the early 2000's & represents a rejection of the "modern" photo-based design method of producing cinema posters. Mondos & AMP's are cinema posters created as art pieces. Generally these have not been made for film marketing purposes but instead are artistic re-interpretations of both classic vintage films & modern movies. Mondo/AMP posters are exceptionally high quality prints, released in strictly limited numbers (invariably sold out on release) & become instant collectables.

Poster created by the German artist Florian Bertmer who delivers a suitably gory OTT illustration. Bertmer is better known for his artwork for bands in the hardcore punk, grindcore & heavy metal scene. This licenced screenprint is one of just 175 issued & has been numbered in pencil to the lower rim. This poster has no discernible faults & is as close to mint as you will find (we handle these posters with proper conservation quality gloves in order to keep them as pristine as possible).
