The Rise And Fall Of Idi Amin Poster

UK 1-Sheet poster for the Anglo-Nigerian-Kenyan production "The Rise and Fall of Idi Amin" (1981) with poster artwork by Tom Beauvais, the film charting the brutish antics of Idi Amin. A clever composition packed with illustration & a fine depiction of the the eccentric villain holding forth.

This poster comes from the personal collection of the artist. Tom Beauvais worked closely with Tom Chantrell at the Allardyce ad agency before setting up his own business, "Chapman-Beauvais" in 1975. Among the roster of posters Beauvais created were "Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid (1969), "Fantastic Voyage" (1966), Mad Max (1979) & Zombie Flesh Eaters" (1980).

A LETTER OF AUTHENTICITY SIGNED BY TOM BEAUVAIS WILL ACCOMPANY THIS POSTER.
