UK Quad cinema poster for "This Sporting Life" (1963).

Made in 1963 & part of a slew of British realistic social dramas, "This Sporting Life", was a great critical success (nominated for two Oscars) & featured some terrific acting (both Richard Harris & Rachel Roberts excelled). An intelligent film packed with social history. The poster imagery is simple, dark & intense, mirroring perfectly the gritty content of the film. This is one of the classic posters of British 1960's "Kitchen Sink" cinema.

There are several very small tack-hole rips to the body of the poster, slight fold-line wear & a few very minor edge nicks but these issues are pretty cosmetic & the poster displays very well "as is".
