Original artwork design (20 1/2"x 23 3/4") for the Walt Disney scifi film "Tron" (1982) from the estate of the artist Vic Fair.

Artwork consists of several photo-mechanical prints laid to artboard & shows the character "Tron", Bruce Boxleitner, wearing his iconic helmet & bodysuit. Large areas of the upper black background are painted as is the white rim outlining Boxleitner. There are several annotations to the boarder of the artboard. This item appears to have been made in conjunction with a concept poster design dating from 1982, which was sold in Feb 2026 at Sotheby's for £3,000 (hammer) - see: https://www.sothebys.com/en/buy/auction/2019/original-film-posters-online-2/tron-1982-artwork-british?locale=en

Although the artwork element here is relatively small, this is a rare design concept for this collectable film as the final Quad poster (as shown attached) was radically different.
