Who Goes There Poster

UK Quad poster for the little-known British comedy "Who Goes There!" (1952) aka "The Passionate Sentry".

The film was based on a stage play & revolved around the romantic complications of a private in the Guards & the girlfriend he leaves behind. George Cole co-starred & bizarrely the American censors saw fit to remove two utterances of the word "cripes" from the film. The poster is silk-screened & the low print run explains the scarcity of the title. The poster was machine-folded prior to the ink being properly dry hence the shadow effect.

Poster with edge nicks/pin-holes, light foldline wear, several small conservation repairs to the reverse & writing to the reverse which does NOT show through. An attractive, scarce title & one with Guards interest, a London setting & for fans of 1950's British comedy.
