Wild Geese II

Original Vic Fair painted concept poster artwork (27 1/2"x 37") for "The Wild Geese II" (1985).

Starring Scott Glenn, Barbara Carrera & Edward Fox this was the sequel to "The Wild Geese" (1978). Fair's artwork is particularly large & is composed with of series of paper & card paste-on illustrations. The central image of the three stars is a photo-mechanical print but everything else is hand-painted or lettered by the artist. To the upper is a small acetate overlay carrying the white text, all items laid to thick card with a further tracing paper protective sheet.
