Yellow Submarine

Original animated hand-drawn artwork from The Beatles film "Yellow Submarine" (1968) showing an image of Ringo Starr from the Cavalry charge scene, Ringo with two arrows in his back.

This artwork (approx 4 1/4" high) is on an acetate sheet (12 1/2"x 32" approx). This item belonged to the commercial artist Corona Maher who worked at TVC Studios on the Beatles "Yellow Submarine" film (she was the chief colour checker on the project). TVC carried out the animation artwork, Nov 67-July 68 for Suba Films/King Features, under the direction of Heinz Edelmann who designed the Beatles Yellow Submarine film. The acetate has been numbered "R1" to the bottom rim (the yellow sticker is our ID sticker). A Letter of authenticity will be provided with this item.

An item that could be framed to great effect. Will be sent rolled in a tube.
